WWE Superstar Titus O’Neil along with his foundation, the Bullard Family Foundation, continue to deepen their partnership with Metropolitan Ministries as they expand their partnership beyond their collaborative effort to serve 50,000 families during the holidays.
Collaboratively along with Wheels for Success and local dealership (the Hyundai Giant Autogroup, Stingray Chevrolet, Rob Elder Ford, Ferman Chevrolet, and Fuccillo Kia) five working families who will receive a car during several surprise presentations over the next five days.
“Transportation is the greatest economic challenge facing Tampa Bay today,” Bullard said. “These recipients are all deserving and we are happy to be able to provide them with reliable transportation to help them get to work so that they can maintain a stable job and take care of their families.”
Beyond the holiday initiative and vehicle initiative the two organizations are committed to further expand their efforts to support hardest hit communities and front-line workers which started this past summer.
Since Covid first hit the two organizations have worked to meet community needs by delivering over 56,000 food boxes with expanded focus on home delivery and hardest hit communities, thousands of teachers and front line workers received meals from wonderful Tampa Bay restaurants including Metropolitan Ministries social enterprise Inside the Box, enhanced focus on mindfulness by bringing Metropolitan Ministries compassion fatigue program (Effinity) at no cost to the participants.
Going forward into 2021 both organizations are committed to helping hardest hit communities and individuals struggling in Tampa Bay with a purpose driven multi-million dollar initiative which will continue to leverage partnerships with multiple nonprofits and churches actively working to alleviate suffering, promote dignity, and instill self-sufficiency.
